Kasich: Medicaid expansion will help Ohio solve "really significant problems"

Ohio Gov. John Kasich, in an interview with WLWT this week, defending his decision to expand Medicaid with what tea partiers are calling "KasichCare."

"You particularly can't turn your back on people who really have disabilities and mental illness. I mean, that's not right.

We have a chance to begin to solve some of Ohio's really significant problems with this program.

Look, people want to protest -- that's all America. Look, I understand protests from when I was in college. It's okay, people have a right to feel strongly, it's just fine with me."
