Maryland: Hillary trounces O'Malley

A new Washington Post poll of Maryland Gov. Martin O'Malley shows his homestate is fairly "meh" on a potential presidential run.

In a hypothetical 2016 primary, Hillary Clinton pulls in 46%, Joe Biden nabs 14%, and O'Malley picks up 7%.

But if that's not terribly surprising (after all, Hillary's a beast everywhere), this is -- O'Malley only manages a 49%/41% approval rating in the third most Democratic state in the nation.

Granted, that's a +8% rating, but his failure to crack even 50% shows just how little he's wowed 'em, despite his impressive score of legislative victories.
