Klobuchar sounds sort of interested in a 2016 run

Here's Minnesota Sen. Amy Klobuchar, after being asked whether she might run for president in 2016.

"I love my job right now. This is what I'm doing. Minnesota has had kind of a spotty -- sometimes 'cause of tragedy like Paul Wellstone's death -- but a lot of people in and out of the Senate.... so I see this as a real opportunity to lead and to work on these issues I care so much about."

Not a single hint of rejection or pooh-pooing proceeds from her mouth.

She then talks about her bipartisan credentials.

"2/3 of my bills are with Republicans to get some of these things done."

Door totally open.

She then joked that Minnesota has a longer tradition of sporting vice-presidential candidates, and said an old Minnesota joke is that women bounce their children on their knees and say "One day you can grow up to be vice-president."
