Barbara Buono's creative and head scratching attacks on Chris Christie continue (sometimes, those two go together as in James Joyce).
After Christie released a TV ad this week saying "He made us proud to say we're from New Jersey," Buono snarked that she's always been proud to be from New Jersey.
And here's her latest attack during a campaign stop in Jersey.
“I didn’t think the Republicans could find a Republican more out of touch with the middle class than Mitt Romney. But they did.”
That's not a winning message against an incumbent with universal name ID! Maybe against a political newbie, but not an incumbent.
Christie is pretty much a lock for reelection, but if Buono is going to make a respectable showing, she should highlight his socially conservative views in a deep, blue state, and hope that Democratic activist instincts kick in.
